Hi all

Any Zombies planning on visiting this event ?

York Cycle Rally 22-23 June

The Python [ hopefully ] and I will be there.

I will be either :-

Camping from Friday night till Sunday afternoon if the weather is good.
Visiting on the best day if the weather should be poor ?

If you want my mobile to try and meet up please PM me.

I try and attend the Cycle auction and the saddle bag sale.

The BHPC may have a tent at the show as they have a race meeting on the Sunday at York velodrome BHPC where you can watch them racing and even blag a ride on a commercial recumbent if you ask nicely ?

regards Paul

The weather seams ok for friday and saturday with some light rain on sunday.
So tomorrow is decision day. If I go it be for the whole weekend.
I have a new camping setup which needs to be tested.
And of course I bring my python.

Unsure of forecasts made this far ahead so my decision day is probably Thursday ;) but preparing for the weekend stay 😁

Fingers crossed then

I have a new camping setup which needs to be tested.
It is only a racecourse with mainly portable facilities , in the past there have been some food/drink outlets on site and the odd portloo among the tents

And of course I bring my python.
not sure about this , can't claim mine is the only one in the country if yours turns up :D

If I go Friday I usually turn up outside race course about 9:00am [ free parking on road ] and go out for a second breakfast and ride as the campsite in the past has not opened till 4:00pm.

do you have my mobile number ? do I have yours ?

Hmmmm.....
It is a long way to come for me, esp. with an unproven (to me) machine.
I would enjoy it I am sure, but I would probably cramp your style.

That is why I have tactfully not asked you if you are ready [ quite surprised myself I can do tact :ROFLMAO: ]

Serious note fully understand , IMHO you would be much better shooting for Mildenhall , although there is no camping on site there are a couple of sites nearby and it is a nice area to cycle in , and if all the planets align a quickie in Holland in September ?

I'm very much up for Mildenhall AND a "quickie" in September. :)
I should have some proving-miles under my belt by then at least.
