We used to do ebay, and I hate to say it, but the level of intelligence there.... not so good!
A surprisingly large percentage of users would ask things like this...
  • How do you ship the bike?
  • Do I have to put anything together, or is it assembled?
  • Is there some place I can test ride first before you send the trike to me?
Yeah... I am going to ship your $16.95 recumbent trike by FedEx overnight.
I dealt with some buyers on ebay who were fantastic and supportive of AZ, but over time, there was an increasing number of stupid people expecting to get a completed bike shipped to them for free for under 20 bucks. It was unbelievable.

I have been attempting to converse with the idiot using another account in order to get his email address, or even better, his physical address, but no luck.
He knows that he is ripping people off, and knows that ebay will continue to enable him.

Not sure which one is the greater criminal... him or ebay?
Countless emails to ebay ignored as they just keep raking in transaction fees.

I see that someone who purchased pirated autocad files just report him in feedback though.

Thanks to everyone for standing to fight with us!

That's what I call "hitting the nail on the head"!
eBay is basically a bunch of legalized thugs, IMO.

Maybe I'm being 'unethical' in this thought...don't know!

Is it possible to leave a review without having to be a buyer?.

If people read (in the negative reviews) that he's overcharging, from the original site price, then maybe he won't sell as many,
or any at all, and the potential buyer might be steered to this site.

Then again, he's probably a member, and is reading everything we're writing about him/her.

You can only leave feedback after purchasing. The only way is to keep hammering eBay and reporting the copyright violations.

Fleabay has removed the Scammer's AZ listings (for now). Thanks to everyone for joining the flash mob!
Now I move on to Stage Two... payback.

Those who know me, know that I live by "eye for an eye" as much as I live by DIY!

Every 1st of the month I will be contacting the original authours of what remains on his site to alert them.
I will also be continuing to report all his plans as fraud.
Will also be scripting an "offer bot" to keep hammering his site with random offers (hundreds).
I will continue this for the next 5 years. That is my standard time for those that make "the list".

I feel the same way about these scammers as I do spammers!...

Down with them all!

I love it Brad.
Don't get MAD, get even.
If he moves to another Username, just add them to the offerbot's list.
Wonderful. :ROFLMAO:

Way To Go, Brad

My grin kept getting bigger and bigger after reading each, 'jab' back at him.

This is one thread, to watch, as time goes by.

Is there a way to get an alert, when one of your plans, pop up on the internet?
Or is that an insurmountable idea?

I agree with Stormbird.
If you can give me the code for it, I am on a 24 x 7 broadband connection and would be happy to help.

When I filed the complaint, I called eBay to report it. Anytime that I have a problem with eBay, I write a letter to the following address and it seems that they contact their legal dept and get me an answer quickly. I think that the best way to deal with this scumbag seller is to write a letter to

eBay, Inc
Office of the President
2065 Hamilton Avenue
San Jose, California 95125

Thanks, I will keep the "Zombie Computer Denial of Service Attack" option open in case he didn't learn a lesson yet.
My monthly slaps will continue though until the date of March 1st, 2024.

What I am doing now is entering the images for the stolen DIY materials in google reverse image search to track down the original authors.
For instance, the drift kit belongs to this website...

At that point I contact the author with a link to alert them. Usually with a message that reads something like this...

Just wanted to let you know that an ebay scammer is reselling your copyrighted material, often for an inflated price. The scammer continually show multiple copies "in stock", and many of the plans have been reworked to remove the original author's name (your name). The seller then claims he is the original author, and will even go as far as claiming that others are scamming him. The end result is an unhappy customer that will eventually find your site to require assistance after purchasing an incomplete DIY plan for a scalper's cost. Having been a victim of this scammer myself, I just wanted to let you know.

I also continually report all items as fraud.

When his store does get taken down, I will then use the collected images and broken English text as a reverse search to find his new store.
Until the year 2024, I will be collecting my payback.

Veritas Aequitas

Thanks again for standing behind us as I rolled my sleeves!
I almost had him ready to offer a physical address as I posed using a fake account, but it just didn't happen.
Would have loved to see Brazil in person. Would have been totally worth the time and effort to me.

Brad
