received new motor, installed and it runs real quiet. IMO welding in vicinity of a brushless motor (1 1/2") changes the magnets in the brushless motor.
here are pics of new install w/ chain installed.

went for a short test drive.
a temp weld broke on the motor adjuster and I notice the chain runs mch quiter in reverse
going to switch the three wires for the fwr/rev switch and leave the differential in forward gear.
I had the differential in reverse as well as the switch and the cart moves very slow so reversing the motor etc.

While rewelding a temp weld I discovered another issue with motor mount.
Welded the FIX and now just waiting for the rain to stop so I can see if I have ny more gremlins.
Sometimes I wish I llived in S.Cal for the weather but glad I live in SW washington.

It finally got workable weather so back to work on my wifes "hot rod golf cart"
Been designing a dashboard readout that displays SPEED, ODOMETER, BATTERY CONDITION and maybe outside temperature.
here is a schematic that I need to edit but it has the basics.
LIGHTED TACTIL SWITCHES FOR LIGHTS AND MISC
FUSE BLOCK
NATTERY CONDITION CIRCUIT (needs editing)
thinking of adding a three way switch since the motor has three speeds (slow, med, fast)
if user turns on lights but forgets to turn them off they do not come back on when "ignition" switch is turned back on.
no power hungry relays, it uses electronic switches called mosfets.
While waiting for parts I have started attaching the body.
This dash display when finished design can be used on most any golf cart etc.

I went over every connection and have yet to figure out WHY it does not run.
I measured the throttle pedal voltage and come up with .853 and 2.936. Supposed to be 1- 4 volts
I ordered a new controller and hopefully get it running.
The battery still reads 53 volts. I was thinking the battery was the problem but?
and yes it is still cold and wet up here in S.W. Washington
