Help, I have aquired multiple 48v 500w wheel motors. I am wanting to use them on a project as the rear drive.

Is it possible to use one throttle for two controllers. Or one controler for both motors.

If the controller is strong enough, it can do 2 brushed motors. But an 48V 1000W controller, that's not a small beast anymore.

And yes, you can use 1 throttle for 2 controllers. Depending on what kind of signal it wants. If it's the 0-10V , it's easy, that's using the throttlewires in parrallel over both.

I would do 1 throttle with 2 controllers.
It is the easiest way to do it. You only need to connect the wires of both controllers to one throttle.

Grin even has a splitter for that. I built a delta wheelchair with two rear motors. Full suspension too.
