I may have backed myself into a corner ? fixing the fairing top

Why not just glue a small strip of 3mm plywood on the inside of the box where you risk to rip through the cardboard?

    Clarke Towers Goes POSH.

What about a big chain to attach one (or more) of your trikes to your fence. Should be a lot more difficult to run away with the panels :)

A solution to twisting chains for FWD

Truck Trike uses a similar solution for the twisted chain on a FWD bike. http://www.trucktrike.com/ Jan

    Ed, what happens?

Eds (Edspedalcars) last post about his StreetRunner dates from more than a month ago. Since august 12 no update has been made to his story. I noticed that he regularly passes by to view the forum. Dear Ed, I know there are terrific fires in California. I hope you and your family are ok and are...

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

Sorry Walter for this late answer. Thanks Danny for your clear explanation. Thanks Paul for your correct warning. I think I used some wrong terminology in my previous short answer. Therefore here a picture of the fixation of my rack. Please keep also in mind that I used this rack only for...

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

I used the rack from an old donor bike and attached the underside with a bolt as a normal rack on an upright. At the top I welded the remains of a small kids bike rack, screwed to the pivoting back of the trike.

    Going for my second build.

Thanks for your quick reply. I measure 1.75 m, weight 73 kg. Looking at the pictures of your Netherlands trips I suppose that you are little taller. So this seat will fit me. I think I will place an order.

    Going for my second build.

Paul, may I ask you if your comfortable in the seat you have on your trike? What are the dimensions? Could this be the same like this one? I found it here : triker-onderdelen/stoel-voor-triker-pro-100.html. Even if it is only 'plastic', you can not let it go for that price (45.90 euro...

    My life with Python trikes Mk1 , Mk1.5 , Mk2 ?

For what it is worth. Why not create an independent suspension such as the Citroën 2 CV. Instead of hinging the central arm, you can move the two axes up and down separately and connect them with tie rods and compressed coil springs. A view from behind would be something like this.

    Experimental Python from leftovers

The track is measured centre to centre. Initially I build it with the 'ideal' pivot angle of 65 degrees and lowered it after I read your discussion with Pegasus here on the forum.

    Experimental Python from leftovers

Thanks all (Brad, Sir Joey, Paul) for your replies. I appreciate your comments and suggestions concerning my build. Thumbs up for the Atomic Zombie Community. The seat height is 40 cm, necessary to turn above the pivot (and easy to get on, easy to get off). The rear track is 69 cm. This gives...

    Experimental Python from leftovers

Hi, The rear wheels have 12.7 mm (1/2 inch) axles. I don't suppose these were made for rough journeys or for carrying heavy loads (I weigh 75 kg). That's why I placed the word "experimental" in the title. I love the odd way the python controls along with the compactness of the design. Until...

    Experimental Python from leftovers

Hi everybody, I had some leftovers from my tadpole build and thought to give it another shot. I ordered m14 rod ends at my friends Aliexpress and assembled the python trike in the attached pictures. The front is made of the rear of two kids bikes. The rear wheels came from a second hand sale...

First attempt to build my own Streetfox

These are ordinary pedals, not cleated. I want to be able to ride my bike with 'normal' shoes. I am thinking of making heel straps with knotted paracord.
