AZ Inspired Trike Build (The Tri-Meridian) is Complete!

I don't see the need for rear fenders. I don't think that you get dirty from them. You will get used to it and your legs also. You will notice that you will not have those heavy legs as on an upright bike after a long ride. Also waiting for trafic lights or just a stop and not needed to put...

Don't wait to long with fixing it. I did the same with my build and in the end, it had to break before I finally made it good.

    Going gor my second build.

I am going to order the 26 inch rim also and also use the red nipples for it. Will use the rear hub that I have now, to get the same look as the front wheels.

    I crashed again

I go fast and with that, the risk of a crash is bigger. I know that and this wasn't my first and probably also mot my last crash. Falling with a trike that low by the ground, hurts a lot less. My elbow was open, but that was all. Well as long as you don't hit something. The bike went very...

    I crashed again

Almost ready with fixing my trike. Everything is mounted back on. Damage was even bigger than I thought. The frame is bend, but I will straighten that out soon. Added lights that use the battery of the e-assist. Wheel is straight again. Steering is fixed and new shifter is placed. Only need...

    (Trike for) Velomobile.... from scratch.

As you want a good body around your trike, Tham it's best to design a body and a frame. Or do what Popshot showed. A wooden base. You can use something like carbon fiber, but then you really need to design the frame and the body togheter for the best result. Some made a body with coraplast...

    (Trike for) Velomobile.... from scratch.

A delta with steering would have a smaller turning circle. Safety I don't understand what you mean. Both can roll over as you mean that. I don't want to say that one is easier than the other. I wouldn't go gor a surten frame and just put a body on. I would look ad the outer body and see how...

    (Trike for) Velomobile.... from scratch.

I have seen that they build them as home in their garage. So it is possible and it's ip to you, how hard you make it. You can go easy with the design so it is easier to build, or make it complex and the choice of materials.

    Going gor my second build.

Wheels are ready. Also hot my ammo boxes. They are a bit rusty, but only slightly. So I will send them and paint them in the color of the frame or black. They are even better than I expected. Not without some user tracks, but that is no problem. Finish the mounting for that now I have the...

    (Trike for) Velomobile.... from scratch.

For a velomobile I would go for a kmx style trike. You can af rear suspension but the main reason is, is that you can easily use the frame to mount the body to. Best is, to design a frame that is low and had a main horizontal low part under the seat.
