Quad build.

I assume that powers everything , not just the motor ?

Paul

It is now on my trike, but it will power the lights and charge my phone. In the camper part, I will use my 36v. The big size, makes that I still have a hood range as I take all my luggage with me. It even helps as I connect a trailer behind the quad.
And as I ride here around, then I don't have to charge that much.

Today we cut the steel for the front arms. Wednesday we start welding the arms.
Then are they ready as Maddox has the other parts.

Here are some images from the front suspension with the wheels mounted.

This is Badass-cycles his quad. Mine gets the wheel mounts, next week.

Maddox made the wheel mounts. We only needed to ad mounting to the frame.
He did also make the axles for the rear wheels and mounts for the gears.
That helped a lot and makes it a lot easier for us, to build it.

We sat on it and it seems that we got the right front suspension.
I can't wait till the frames are ready and we can try them.

Rolling the frame to see if the wheels kept straight, worked good. Not everything was tightened, but still the wheels stait straight as we rolled the frame.

Looking good there chaps! :)

I just got to watching this build. I’ve been wanting to build a quad myself so I’m looking at all the various designs and ways to do it. I swear, nothing I ever do is easy!

Emiel,

If you have received a txt from +447788497577 it was me trying to contact you on behalf of Paul.
If neither of our texts are getting to you then "Houston....We have a problem." 🙃

Yes, but without the "-" in the number string.
I sent the text to +31615570186 my mobile carrier charged me as it was outside of my plan (which I had expected).

I think that it is solved as Paul is in the Netherlands. It seems something with a problem that isn't solved.

My provider resetted my Sim to see if it was solved.
He told me that there was a problem in the UK and that since then, there are those problems.

We will see if it works as Paul is in the Netherlands. Calling can also.

Hi Emiel,
Paul has been trying to get in touch with you and has asked me to ask you if your SMS is on on your phone?
I think you have Paul's number so I wont post it here on an open forum.

I have not received any thing from Paul.
I have send him an SMS today.
My SMS is on. I think it is still a problem.
