Prototype hack together surprise

I've been fiddling away in the workshop between bouts of 'gardening' which consists of cutting down, pulling out and clearing various areas. I have little knowledge of and even less interest in gardening so my aim is to reduce everything down to lawn or single small trees/bushes which I can keep chopped back and mow round. Bit of a slog but I'm getting there slowly.

I have actually put together another ebike which works fine but which is not as comfortable as my box section framed second build. More upright and tough on the hind quarters. This one will probably be disassembled before long.

Looking at various sites for ideas and I came upon my perfect dream bike. Clearly built by a brilliantly artistic designer this bike is a real head turner. I can just imagine rolling up outside my local coop store to the admiring glances of all present.

Frankly I think if this was presented by one of our modern artists it would be welcomed for display in any art collection alongside the unmade bed and Ford Escort wrapped in a giant doyley. It must have taken many hours of work and careful construction. I get the impression this was an evolving design which was created as it was being built rather than from a firm plan. Growing organicaly piece by piece.

My interpretation could never emulate the original. I don't have the skills or imagination. I would also want larger wheels and suspension and maybe some brakes?? which would probably spoil the effect but it's an object of inspiration of man's ingenuity.

My latest poor effort and and the artwork are pictured here.

Sarcasm aside I really do admire this guy (or maybe his Dad). I moan to myself about not having the right piece of steel or running short of gas for my mig welder and having to 'make do' on a build but this guy would be delighted to have my resources no doubt. He's taken what he has and made himself something from pretty much nothing. It does the job for him and gives him a sense of pride and that's what we all want.

Long live the AZ ethos.
