New seat ideas

Now that its winter and riding season is over here, I'm looking toward what I'm going to work on, upgrade, tweak on the warriors I built. I'm finishing up fenders/mounting now and I think the seat is next. I have the stock foam and plywood from the manual and its comfortable, but I want something a little more contoured and breathable.

I looked into a mesh and frame but i didn't like the feel, I was thinking of steamed wood sheets, glued together in a contour shape, or a piece of steel bent to shape, then glue foam to it with some air channels cut out, or if it's steel some dimple holes punched out and maybe some bead rolls to make it stronger.

Anyone used steel, how thick should it be, or anyone tried the seat glue up and have advice?

Iam thinking about taking the fighter jet seat approach, they make custom seats by having the pilot sit on a platic beanbag and then pull a vacuum in the bag while the pilot is on it.
if you do that right you have a mold for a seat that perfectly hugs your back.
I was thinking about putting a beanbag in a vacuum bag and then after i pulled the vacuum make a shell , then temporary glue foam to that and make a permanent suport on the back of the foam, after that ill remove the first shell and if everything has gone right then you have a perfect fitting seat, making it breathing by using mesh

I like the principle of the idea but a vacuum bag is likely to fold and wrinkle as it forms and those folds will transfer to the mould or the shell if not bothering with a mould. Either you live with such imperfections or have to smooth them out. The bean and vacuum bag will need support to retain shape. An old bucket car seat or similar will need to be around the outside of the bag to prevent it splaying.

There is this
which may help ?

or this ?

and this Wooden seat although most of the wooden one's I have seen use far to thick a wood.

I don't like a flat seat on a trike when you corner the trike does not lean and so I find you do and can feel you are falling out of the seat
