Kinneri was a hit in the summer of 1949

60Kg? It probably made them too-tired for Sex and so they dropped the project.

Some of the current Velomobiles reach that ?

Finnes not Swedes.

Sorry not meant to offend ...

I should have qualified that statement ?

It is my understanding that these wooden WW2 designs were created and much more popular in neutral Sweden as a result of the petrol rationing , and were much less popular in Finland as they were fighting the war and the road/general conditions were not as favourable as Sweden ?

Check this out ?

Thanks Paul, this is great info. Love the British Arion 1 with the relatively tiny turning circle.

That may not be true , it is a HPV speed record machine I doubt if it can move more than 3m from a straight line ?

Not sure what it looks like under the hood [ yet ] however more info here :-

Arion HPV record breakers ?

seen this ?

Sprocket rocket ....

5 yes FIVE riders in it at Battle Mountain HPV speed trials !

Allegedly this is a launch with the riders already inside ?

Like to guess it's turning circle ?

Would it be slightly more than a Python Trike's turning circle by any chance? TBH, it doesn't look like there is provision for "turning", more like just enough for "corrections".
5 men + all the chassis, the 4 tyres must be pretty good.

You make me blush young sir :sneaky:

Correct it's all about straight line speed ...

IIRC 3 tyres on each rear wheel and 2 tyres on each front wheel ?

Just under 60 mph , hard to believe as it seems to crawl along on the video ?
