We're building a freakbike, where the front wheel is replaced by an intact small children's bicycle. I'd like to have the small bicycle pedaling (backwards), and am looking for "gotchas."
I know I'll need to remove the coaster brake shoes from the small hub and embiggen the gear ratio to slow down the child's cranks.
What's some advice on making it a fixed gear? It's only driving the pedals when rolling backwards through a temporary kluge. Any other gotchas?
Still shot
